Relevant Twelve Strike Definitions:
Central Desk Control- Computer that controls every feature of the Twelve Strike System. You can pull up all the lane computers menu screens and help your customers step by step through whatever they need help with.
Pedestal Unit- Pedestal unit houses the scoring computer and is constructed of roto molded polyethylene. The 15" SVGA monitor on the pedestal provides menus for operating the scoring system without interrupting the score displays on the overheads. One computer controls one pair of lanes.
Point of Sale Computer (POS)- Provides a backup for the Central Desk unit in case of trouble. This unit comes standard with one cash drawer. The POS unit automates the process of getting bowlers in and out and the money into the register. It controls the lane computers and keeps tallies of games bowled.
